- First of all let me be clear-USR modems, and Sportsters in particular,
- suck! I've used 4 different USR Sportsters on 3 different systems and
- in every case they have been a nightmare. I work for a large Corp.
- which has recently decided to junk their Sportsters and go over to
- another brand. I never knew how great a good modem could be until I
- yanked my Sportster from my computers and replaced them with Practical
- Peripherals 28.8's
- Take it from someone who has been through hell-steer clear of the USR
- Sportster(the 28.8 version in particular)
